Over sixty percent of the population within our service area is trapped in a generational cycle of poverty and cannot meet basic physical or spirtual needs on a regular basis. Escape from this cycle begins when individuals are free to devote non-resting hours to tasks other than those essential for life. The services we provide, over time, improve basic living conditions, thereby allowing individuals and communities to work towards their own betterment. In aggregate, those who enjoy this improvement are able to better sustain themselves and others.
